​This year Clarity Choir is 10 years old!
We will be celebrating with a big birthday event on Sunday 14 June 2026.

"On 13 January 2016 I started ‘Clara’s Community Choir’ in Trowbridge following my training with Candy Verney as part of the Trowbridge Song Project in autumn 2015. There were 12 singers at the first session and over time that has grown to over 120 across all my groups (many of the original members still sing with me on a Wednesday evening!). The founding members helped to choose the name ‘Clarity Community Choir’ and by June that year I’d started a Bath choir.

I took on Doves Peace Choir in June 2022 and in April 2024 I set up Singing Mamas Trowbridge, a women’s singing group. 

Over the last 10 years I have led many singing workshops all over the South West, met lots of wonderful singers and worked alongside some incredible choir leaders. It truly is a joy to call this my job!

ABOUT CLARITY
Clarity Choir sing uplifting songs from around the world in a range of styles and come together to perform a few times a year. Clarity is an open-access, a cappella choir that is as much about having fun as it is about singing!

All songs are taught by ear and everything we sing is unaccompanied allowing us to really enjoy the wonderful sound of the human voice in harmony. We sing mainly for fun, but do perform occasionally.

If you're interested in joining Clarity Choir, please do get in touch. Details of rehearsal times are below. There are no auditions, no requirements, just a willingness to join in and have fun!

Tuesday mornings 10.15am-12.15pm (term time)
TROWBRIDGE - Wesley Rd Methodist Church, Newtown, Trowbridge
Wednesday evenings 7.30pm-9.30pm (term time)

Cost
£8 per session, paid termly in advance. Most terms are 10-12 weeks long.
